I am SO excited to share these images with you! Meet Jared and Chelsea! They look familiar, you say? Bingo! You've meet them on my blog before, you can refresh your memory here!
Mr. Jared is my first cousin and I love him dearly! The best thing about first cousins is that they are often times your first friends! We have countless incredible memories growing up together. We share the best Mimi and Papa on the face of the planet! Mimi spoiled us rotten (in a good way) growing up. In fact, to this day she usually has fresh baked cookies on the counter for her grandkids (grandadults) to enjoy! Jared and my brothers are the same age and we all went to the same school. Our moms used to have to contact the school ahead of time to warn the principle not to put any of the Staten/Pittman boys in the same class because they would be too rowdy.
As cousins we have hours worth of side wrenching stories, we've created our own currency (Dino Dollars-I can send you the pdf file if you want!) and every year durning the holidays, we compete in a very prestigious Mario Kart 64 tournament (I've never won!)
Most recently, the very best thing about Jared, is his beautiful fiancé, Chelsea! I've absolutely loved getting to know Chelsea, she's brilliant, hilarious and she doesn't mind being around our very large, very loud family! She's the perfect addition to our crazy bunch!
I'm going to be completely honest here. I'll admit that I am 100% jealous of the ridiculously cute and cozy apartment Jared and Chelsea live in in Yellow Springs. I might actually ask if I can vacation there lol! Their apartment is literally copied and pasted from an Urban Outfitters magazine. The place is a perfect mixture of the coolest record/book store you've even been in and a quite mom and pop coffee shop. Basically, its very "Yellow Springs" (again...in a good way!) The very first time I visited, I knew we had to use this cute space for a portion of their engagement pictures.
It was a blast photographing Jared and Chelsea. I am so honored that they asked me to be part of their special day! I know I can be a bit "wordy" on my blog, so I'm going to stop myself here! I'm very, very proud of these pictures and I just want you to scroll through them and enjoy them as much as I do!
It's okay if you say "Awwwe" out loud while you admire this super cute, super in love couple!
