I was so thrilled when Martha contacted me about doing a sweetheart session, but I was really drawing a blank on where the location should be...
For my out-of-town readers...it started to snow here in Dayton on October 23rd 2013... and it has yet to stop! (okay, so that is a slight exaggeration...but you get the picture!) I was really racking my brain for a suitable INDOOR location for two little ones on this super chilly Valentine's Day. Thankfully, my dear friend Betty (The Children's grandmother a.k.a BaBet) had a perfect solution!
The Centerville Library! This was the perfect situation, the lovely people at Centerville Library let us in an hour before the public. We had a wonderful time!
You should know, that it is very liberating to use regular talking voices inside a library, as opposed to whispering! ;)
Any-who! I digress! On to the 100% Cuteness of these two sweetie pies!
I absolutely love working with children, But like Foresst Gump would say "You never know whatcha gonna get" I must tell you that the stars were aligned on this day! Luke and Calla were incredible! They warned up to me instantly, they were such a blast to be around and they were amazingly well-behaved! There are not many things that I look forward to at 8:30 in the morning, but this was hands down one of my most enjoyable sessions!
This is one of my favorite pictures of our time together, those ornery smirks and the sweet little clasped hands makes my heart melt!
I believe this is Andrew's third photo session that he has "assisted" me.... I guess I should start paying the poor kid!
As always, feel free to leave some C.C.P love in the comment section below for Luke, Calla and their sweet family!
Here is a little behind the scenes/bonus picture.
Aunt Ali was nice enough to meet us at the library bright and early to occupy my bambino during the session. This was Andrew's FIRST trip to the library! Thanks Aunt Ali! We love you!
Please excuse the disheveled look on Andrew's face ;)
