I hope you have had a marvelous holiday weekend! Even though it's Tuesday, to most of you I'm sure it feels like a Monday! So, while you are staring at your computer screen pretending to look busy while you patiently wait for it to be Friday again... Please! Enjoy this really, really fun blog post!
Now, before we begin I have to tell you that these are the BEST pictures to ever grace this blog! Why, you ask? One, I got a new camera. Two, I recently realized I've been saving my images for the website incorrectly. My beloved nerdy friends should be able to notice and appreciate the difference! Three, this was the MOST incredible setting for a wedding EVER! It was *almost* impossible to take a bad picture in the charming city of Downtown Louisville. The icing on the cake is that the bride and groom, along with their friends and family were absolutely awesome!
This is the first time in CCP history that I've actually "blogged" a wedding. It was SO SO SO hard to choose which pictures to share. Deciding how to lay each image out was a chore. (Once again to my veteran photographer friends I tip my hat to you and say...*In my best Wayne and Garth impression*..."We're not worthy! We're not worthy!") but I hope you see how gorgeous this weekend was despite several monsoon downpours. The vibe given off by the friends and family of the Prinzo/Golding crew was so warm and loving, I wish I could bottle all that energy up and bring it to every event! I know I'm laying the cheese on thick, but it really was a fantastic weekend!
Mike and Kristen were both born in Ohio but currently reside in Brooklyn NY. Their family and friends came from literally all over the U.S to celebrate. Mike and Kristen kicked off their wedding weekend by treating their guests to a day on the Bourbon Trail. We made three different stops, Town Branch, The Barrel Room and Four Roses. The pictures from this day will be making a blog appearance in the near future. I decided last minute to break the days into two separate blog posts.
The wedding ceremony and reception took place at the magnificent 21C Hotel and Art Gallery. I cannot sing the praises of this venue enough! The staff was outstanding, very helpful, and not to mention the property was absolutely stunning!!! Kristen was able to get ready in the pent house suit where they also said "I do" later Saturday evening on the huge patio overlooking the Louisville sky line.
Alright, I'll stop rambling now so we can get to these fun pictures!
It's magic! Pure magic I tell you!
(I have a lot of favorites from this wedding!)
(It's Kentucky...I'm allowed to use the term hitched ha ha!)
For those of you who have been following me for a while, these are A.J's parents!
Maybe they'll adopt me? ;)
Everyone is just SO happy! (again, in between rain storms!)
These next two images might just be my favorite snap shots of the day. Here is John and Kristen right before they walk down the aisle,I love that they are cracking jokes and being silly!
Mike and Kristen are fantastic people who absolutely deserve each other! I wish you both nothing but happiness all the days of your lives! Thank you, thank you, thank you for including me in your special day!
