Folly Beach, SC

You guys. This is a big one. This photo shoot is one of my favorites to date. See that guy? He’s my brother in law. See that girl? She’s my brand new sister in law! I’m telling you, this shoot was amazing on so many levels. Not only did I photograph two of my favorite people, but it was on Folly Beach, one of my favorite spots in the whole world (outside of Dayton, of course).

Carl and Elizabeth starting dating in 2016, and the night I met her, I turned to Carl and said, “Can we keep her?” and boy I’m glad we did! Because look at these gorgeous photos!

It was such a joy to be part of such a special and intimate experience with these two, not only because they’re my family that I love so much, but because this was such a special day for them. Look how much love is oozing out of them! There are about 10 million words in this photo that I can’t articulate and so much more than meets the eye.

We also had a teensy mishap with a drone and some unexpected wind gusts. But luckily, everything turned out okay!

‘Trash the Dress’ sessions are so fun - we get to capture the wedding after the fact. All the wedding day jitters are gone and you slip into your fancy clothes one more time for a fun photo shoot. A wedding dress is a keepsake that you usually only wear once. A photo shoot like this is a unique memory to treasure and share forever.

for yourself, i'd love to chat!
